DAY 48 - 

Dear Puzzle, 

I love when we first dump all your pieces out and I feel the excitement and anticipation of a fun challenge. I love picking out all the outside edges and then completing the frame first. I love sorting the pieces by color, and deciding which part I want to work on next. I love searching and searching and being sure that a piece is missing but then finding it! I love that you occupy my brain fully, like a meditation. And I love the satisfaction of seeing the very last piece go in.

But most of all, puzzle, I love the time we spend as a family collaborating, and then admiring the beauty of what we’ve accomplished together.
